An elegant George III mahogany tripod table, dating to the late 18th century, circa 1770. The circular top is surrounded by a finely cast and pierced gilt-brass gallery, resting on a molded column and tripod base with splayed legs ending in brass castors.
This versatile piece, often referred to as a wine table, urn stand, or occasional table, would have been used for serving tea, wine, or displaying decorative objects. The richly figured mahogany surface shows a warm patina, highlighting its age and fine craftsmanship.
Perfect as an accent table, side table, or serving stand in both traditional and modern interiors.
